Homasote Company, America’s oldest manufacturer of building products made from recycled cellulose fiber, recently released the Company’s unaudited summary of financial operating information for the first nine months of 2012 and comparable figures for the same period in 2011. Management attributes the improvement in net income to progress in initiatives in energy, operating efficiencies and fixed cost reductions. “We expect these efficiencies and cost savings to continue,” said Chairman and CEO, Warren L. Flicker. It should be noted that cash flow is an ongoing concern as the Company resolves past obligations.
